Sort My Mortgage was established due to the lack of care and advice we saw the typical bank mortgage client receive. No person should walk away with a mortgage believing it will take them 25-30 years to pay it off. Ben is a director at New Zealand Home Loans Christchurch Central, a company which currently manages $130million worth of client lending.
Brand development and client care are his areas of expertise, gleaned, in part, from his five years abroad. In London he was employed by a leading UK E-commerce company before moving to the brand manager’s position for European Cars. Back in his home town of Christchurch, Ben leant his skills to the finance industry before taking joint ownership of NZ Home Loans Christchurch Central. Ben is passionate about what he does, and is excited about providing New Zealanders with the opportunity to be debt free sooner. He lives with his wife and daughter and is a competitive cyclist.

Terry has 19 years in the financial industry behind him and feels that New Zealand Home Loans works so well because it does not rely on a “hard sell” approach. Instead, clients are able to see the differences NZHL make in individuals’ lives and how effectively they can get ahead by paying less interest and reducing their mortgage levels faster. Terry joined the company as a New Business Consultant in 2009 and received “Rookie of the Year”.He is an avid sports fan, supporting the Selwyn United Football Club – Canterbury Metro is their senior partner/sponsor. Originally from Southland, Terry went to boarding school in Oamaru and gained a commerce degree from Otago University.

Emm was drawn to NZHL when she saw four of her former banking clients switch to New Zealand Home Loans in the space of one month, citing their determination to get debt free faster. After seven years with Kiwibank/NZ Post in managerial and lending positions, she brings with her a sound financial background. Her strengths lie in building strong customer relationships so clients will feel comfortable with their lending, debtnav or risk enquiries.
